what is a flour fog?I am a self taught at-home baker and mom of three, and while my kids range in ages, they all have one thing in common - they enjoy baking with me! Have you ever baked with a toddler? I'm sure you can imagine, but let me fill in some of the blanks for you. Inevitably, there is a moment - when you mix the wet and dry ingredients together - that (s)he will decide to turn the stand mixer on high speed, sending a cloud of flour all over your kitchen... that my friends, is a flour fog!

the goal.I am committed to baking the best tasting treats possible. Trial and error (and lots of flour later) and I have perfected my recipes to be crave-worthy, even I think so and I bake them all the time - so thats saying something!
I strive to use only real ingredients and buy or support local whenever possible... not because its trendy, or cool to support small businesses like my own (even though it is), but because it just tastes better that way! |

Stephanie has always loved baking but she didn't start decorating cookies until February 2016 when she hosted a fun girls night in/cookie class that got her seriously hooked on royal icing! Family and friends would often ask her to make cookies for their special events and suggest she make a business out of it, but as a wife and stay-at-home-mom to three boys it seemed impossible, until she got a bit of encouragement from the hubby and Flour Fog was born. |
