Please read the following information carefully - and make sure you have read the FAQ's section for any clarification you may need.
Turnaround Time: I appreciate as much advance notice as possible - that way there is no rush in designing, ordering materials, baking, decorating, packaging, etc. I have had customers book months and months in advance - I am particularly busy during the holidays: Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. The rest of the year gets filled up with birthdays and other special occasions. I am a full time stay-at-home mom, first and foremost, so my baking time is limited. If you require something within two weeks of the day you submitted your request (pending availability), there will be a rush fee associated with your order.
Ordering Process for Custom Orders: 1. Please review my Pricing section to decide if you'd like to proceed. 2. Fill out the Custom Order Request Form below, and submit for a quote! Don't forget to email me separately with inspiration photos, if you have them! 3. I will review your inquiry and get back to you to let you know if I am available to take your order and work out design details with you. Payment is required in FULL up front to secure a spot on my baking schedule. You can cancel up to 2 weeks before the event for a 75% refund.
I truly believe you get what you pay for when it comes to specialty items like these. You are not just paying for ingredients, but my time spent communicating, designing, tweaking, decorating and packaging your little custom works of art. As with any other scratch made, custom item, I charge appropriately for my services.
Sugar Cookie Care Guide Sugar cookies are very shelf stable and will virtually survive an apocalypse; however, the longer you leave them sitting out at room temperature (i.e. beyond 2 weeks after receiving), the drier and less tasty it will be (although still safe to eat). To be overly cautious and because I want you to have the most delicious treats possible, I recommend that if cookies are to be served within 3 days of receiving, store them at room temperature, away from direct sunlight as that will fade icing colors. If serving cookies more than 3 days after receiving, put the sealed cookies in an airtight container, freeze, and they will keep for six months this way. Bring to room temperature in the container prior to serving (24 hours) and DO NOT REMOVE THE LID until fully thawed to avoid condensation ruining the icing.
